Zoe Louisa (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Victoria, BC. Born in Banff and raised in Canmore, Alberta, her practice is grounded in conceptual exploration rather than place-based imagery. Working primarily in painting and photography, Zoe also explores sculpture and drawing when it supports the conceptual direction of her work. Her practice centers on colour, texture, and emotional resonance. Her work ranges from lighthearted, visually immersive pieces—featuring psychedelic motifs and divine symbolism—to darker explorations of corruption, sexual violence, and execution. Zoe is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a dual major in Visual Arts and Psychology, with an anticipated graduation in 2027. She is the recipient of the Helen Pitt Fine Arts Bursary and the Patricia Beer Bursary. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions at the Audain Gallery and the Visual Arts Mezzanine.
